What is your favorite time of year?- Spring and Fall Where do you see yourself in 10 years?- Eek am I at the school councelor? um still tattooing of course, still running my own Studio but adding a few more talented people to work with me so I can totally focus on my custom clientel, personally in my life I want to be in a place where I am feeling happy and content pretty much the way I feel right now...possibly able to spend more time with friends and family that would be nice. What is your biggest pet peeve about tattooing? When I hand people a very simple care sheet and they don't take care of their work, I almost feel like I have to follow some people around to insure they follow the care. Healing a tattoo is so simple but some people think they know better or they listen to their friends advice and then things just get screwed up from there. Then you have some of my clients that are getting huge areas finished, sitting for 4 or 5 hours at a time and they heal perfectly, then you have people who are getting a smaller piece and they turn their skin into a war zone. LOL can you tell that this is a pet peeve hahaha What are the best places to get tattooed? Any area is the best...what places do I like best are really any area. I know some artists have favorite areas like the forearm or ankle but I'm easy. I prefer the design to be big in any case, I've found that over the years doing small pieces cramp my hands. Favorite music? I know some of my clients here my music selection and feel they've entered some type of strange time warp. I listen to a lot of different stuff depending on my mood or the piece I'm working on. In any given day it can go from Depeche Mode, Olive, Morcheeba, Massive Attack to Public Enemy, RUN DMC, Beastie Boys then back around again to The Zombies, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Three Dog Night, Rolling Stones and The Who. Ya never know what you'll hear and I think it's fun like that. |
