I started tattooing in the early 90's sometime after I I left my career in advertising. I caught on quickly and found that with my classic art training  the techniques I had been using for years could be applied to tattooing.

My career in tattooing has spanned more than a decade. My work has won at most major East Coast Tattoo Conventions and recently I have become one of the most decorated tattoo artist in Central Pennyslvania.

My clients and their work have been featured in some of the top 10 Tattoo magazines; "Tattoo Planet", "Internation Tattoo Art", "Skin Art", "Tattoos For Women" and many more.
My custom tattoo work is heavily Eastern influenced with mythology and spirituality. I believe that a tattoo should be a positive experience, for some people it is an inner expression of their soul.

When I opened my Studio back in '93 I wanted to bring people a different type of atmosphere, something that they were not use to finding in most Body Art establishments in this area.I took the flash off the walls, provided a large portfolio of my work for people to preview, offered private consultations to brain storm design ideas, I pushed for a more creative scene allowing clients to work directly with the aritst. Since then I have noticed more studios following my example. I feel it allows for a much easier process especially when it comes to large custom work.

INSPIRATION
I get my inspiration from a lot of different things; books, music, movies, magazines, everything I lay my eyes on can be a potential creative indulgence. I am a great believer in keeping a morgue of reference, a stockpile of ideas and other goodies that help in the creative process can become a great tool in my work. I believe the more visually stimulated an artist can be the better your art will be.

Noticing the little things in life can transpire into the bigger things. Pushing for the unltimate expression of the inner experience is my goal for my own tattoos. Whatever a persons art may be it's important to allow your self to be exposed to many different outlets and experience as many different things as possible..

My biggest inspirations come from the Asian culture whether it's traditional or pop I have been completely enthralled. I am especially drawn to the Japanese, even as a young child I found it to be the most visually and creatively stimulating culture.
In any artform some key elements must exist...balance, movement, space, both positive and negative and fluidity. I hope to achieve that in all my custom work and it's great to have clients who are in tune with those ideas.
